Original disco tune from the 70’s. Voice is by french actor Jean-Pierre Castaldi.
Japanese producer KZA (half of power duo Force of Nature with DJ Kent) sampled it to make the great Le Troublant Acide, released on Mule offshoot Endless Flight a few years ago.
Easy on the weekend, easy.
Woke up to this.
Amazing plain, strong sound, filling up every little space; fantastic work on the drums, tense percussions but also moving and gently kicking (as always with The Blaze).
Now when I sleep, I dream of waking up.

We should all praise Stuart Price for his dedication to make pop and rock music better.
As The Killers long-time producer, Stuart Price is the man behind their latest albums and hits, and gratifies us with a remix or two for each album he produces for the Las Vegas band. This one lives up to his reputation and takes the Killers hit straight into the stratosphere.
For more info about Stuart Price and especially his fabulous work for Madonna or his key implication in the French Touch wave at the end of the 90’s, be sure to check out my article about his FabricLive Mix from 2003, which is, in my opinion, one of the very best releases from the London label.
Today is a happy day, because Florence Welch released a new song.
Happy happy day.
Faded Away is Nic Nicola (co-writer of ‘Vandroid‘ soundtrack) and Gilles Bousquet (aka Mr. Flash) from Ed Banger fame. This new project just came through with an EP called ‘The Wild, The Beautiful and the Damned”, that you can listen to below. All we want now is an album and some tour dates !
All info on the original EP here. From Salsoul Records, 1976. By Tom Moulton the legendary inventor of the remix, the “long edit”, the man responsible for the dance fever in the late 70’s.
Track heard in and taken from the recent BBC Essential Mix of Denis Sulta, my new favourite DJ from my ever favourite city, Glasgow, which I recommend you go listening now here or here. I can firmly say that this may well be the essential mix of the year. Party time. Good time. The best times are those filled of love. And love is free.
Play Me Again. And again.
“Débranche” means to disconnect, to loose up, to drop out. For a second, or a whole life.
What a beautiful song.
Perfect for the Christmas season. And all the other seasons. I wish you a fantastic year in 2018!
Just discovered this cover through a Mehmet Aslan mix.
Absolutely beautiful and brilliant cover.
Keep digging people, diamonds were never found at the surface.
